We will travel to your machine to consult with your maintenance crew, ride operators or local engineer / machinist about your problem and provide guidance on how to best repair the machine. We can also troubleshoot a specific issue, and directly work with your state ride inspector to ensure all aspects of the carousel meets specific ride regulations and requirements. Todd W Goings is a certified NAARSO member.
We can also aid in identifying a carousel or figure, as well as consult on media projects that involve carousels.
-
We travel extensively across North America to inspect and maintain machines. We provide a complete report with documentation with every inspection.
-
We can perform repairs on-site. With repairs that are unable to be performed on-site, we transport the broken / worn part to our facility to undergo meticulous and careful repairs to ensure the safety of the carousel.
-
We can perform on-site paint touch-ups. For figures or parts with significant paint wear, we can transport the element to our shop to undergo thorough restoration / touch-ups. Kindly allow for a curing period to ensure the touch-ups are properly dry before resuming carousel operations.
-
We hand forge our drop rods, guy rods and cranks for use on the new machines built here and for the replacement of worn or broken parts on old machines; meticulously matching the measurements to that of the old parts.
-
With our own in-house pattern makers, we are capable of designing new castings or matching old style castings for any part of the machine from the gears at the top of the carousel to the hi-hats at the bottom.
We also have an established library of castings from every major carousel manufacturer.
-
We build our own commutators and perform all of our own electrical work. We also use new electric motors with a computerized drive unit. These motors have an electronically controlled start and stop function built into the program, and the speed and length of the ride can be pre-programmed, this ensures greater safety and reduces hands-on operation.
